Privacy policy
Last updated 15 October 2026
The short version. We collect as little as we can. Payments are handled by our payment provider, not by us. We never sell your data.
What we collect, and why
- When you buy. Your order is processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record: the legal seller of your order. They collect your name, email address, billing country and payment details to take payment, charge the right tax and deliver your files. We receive your name, email address, country and order details. We never see or store your card number.
- When you email us. We keep your message and email address so we can reply and help you.
- When you visit the site. Our host keeps standard technical logs, such as IP address and browser type, to run the site securely.
- Advertising measurement. If you accept cookies, we use the Meta Pixel to understand which of our adverts lead to visits and purchases. If you decline, it does not load.
Our legal basis
We process your data to fulfil your order (contract), to answer your messages and keep the site secure (legitimate interest), and to meet tax and accounting obligations (legal obligation). Advertising cookies are used only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Who we share it with
- Lemon Squeezy, to process payments, tax and delivery. Their own privacy policy applies to the checkout.
- Netlify, which hosts this website.
- Meta, only if you accept advertising cookies.
Some of these providers are based in the United States. Where data leaves the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, it is protected by the safeguards those providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require, usually up to ten years in France. Support emails are kept for up to three years after our last exchange. We delete data we no longer need.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@dayonepup.com and we will reply within one month.
You can also complain to a data protection authority: the CNIL in France (cnil.fr), the ICO in the United Kingdom (ico.org.uk), or the authority where you live.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
